Alison Holman is a composer, lyricist, pianist, director, and performer originally from Twin Falls, Idaho where she studied classical piano on a cow farm. A lifelong musician and storyteller, she co-wrote her first full-length musical by age 18 before launching a performance career in Branson, Missouri and later aboard cruise ships around the world. After relocating to New York City, Alison performed and collaborated with Broadway artists at venues including 54 Below, Birdland, Lincoln Center, and Broadway Pops, and has played piano with organizations such as Playbill and the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Her original musicals have been developed and presented in concerts and festivals throughout New York City.

Christopher Blair is a Canadian performer, vocalist, pianist, and composer originally from Toronto. He began studying classical piano at age five through the Royal Conservatory of Music and continued his musical training for over a decade at St. Michael’s Choir School, where he studied voice, piano, pipe organ, Gregorian chant, and music theory while performing internationally with the school’s acclaimed choirs. After training in musical theatre performance at Randolph College for the Performing Arts, Christopher performed extensively as both a vocalist and cruise ship entertainer before relocating to New York City with his wife and creative partner, Alison Holman. Before partnering with Alison to write The Wise Women, Christopher’s original musical theatre pieces had been performed in venues across the city.
